Sing Up Greenwich Launch

Sense of Sound is delighted to announce the launch of Sing Up Greenwich – an ambitious eighteen month programme of singing activity for children and young people both in and out of school that is being led by Sense of Sound and Greenwich Theatre.

Sing Up is a new government funded programme of singing activity designed primarily for primary school-aged children in the UK which aims to make singing central to children’s lives, in school, in the home and in the wider community.

Sing Up Greenwich is the only Sing Up community in London.

The launch event, which takes place this afternoon at Greenwich Theatre, will introduce Sense of Sound and Greenwich Theatre and our plans for the Sing Up community in Greenwich. There will also be a performance by children from Brooklands Primary School and we will provide people and organisations with ways in which they too can get involved.
