Diversity and accessibility of all kinds have always been at the core of what we wanted to create through music and specifically singing when we formed our company 24 years ago. With this in mind our choir is proud to be performing at the Anthony Walker Foundation‘s gala dinner this evening. It is a privilege for us at Sense of Sound to be invited to represent the love and respect we have for life, love and humanity and show a united front against all hate crime.
This year’s Anthony Walker Foundation Gala Dinner takes place Saturday, 17th October, 2015 at the Titanic Hotel, Rum Warehouse, Stanley Dock in Liverpool.
This special evening brings together special guests, sponsors and supporters representing an array of local, regional and national organisations who have engaged with the Foundation.
This year has been a significant year in that 2015 commemorated the 10 year anniversary of AnthonyWalker’s death. Much has been said and written about what has been achieved in the 10 years since Anthony’s passing and the evening will provide an opportunity to reflect on what has happened since then and will acknowledge the work and contributions of individuals and organisations who have worked tirelessly to make a positive difference in challenging discrimination and hate crime.
The Gala Dinner is one of the Foundation’s flagship events of the year and offers opportunities for networking, fine dining, celebrations of the Foundation’s achievements, and a chance to meet our founder, Dr Gee Walker, trustees, staff and volunteers.
