Portrait of a Nation

The grand finale of Portrait of a Nation will be performed at St. George’s Hall in Liverpool this evening. The piece is a culmination of 18 months work by youths from 17 different cities across the nation and forms a major part of Liverpool’s closing celebrations as the European Capital of Culture 2008. Sense of Sound delivered sessions in singing and songwriting and provided the the core group of vocalists for the performance as well as contributing original pieces of music to the piece which were devised by the group.
