Drive, Ride, Walk @ Greenwich Theatre

Tue 22-Sat 26 February
Greenwich Theatre presents Filament Theatre's
DRIVE RIDE WALK

The world premiere of a unique new piece of music theatre, telling the
story of three different journeys through London and the hopes and fears
of those making them.

Meet newly qualified driver Rah as he takes four friends with him on a
whirlwind tour around the congestion zone, the cyclist whose brief
encounter with a pedestrian offers the hope of romance and the
commuters whose daily routine is disrupted when one of them changes
direction. Incorporating additional vocals from local young singers
GBC, led by Sense of Sound's Juliet Russell and Flexie Muso, Filament
brings to life the poignancy, humour and delight of living and
travelling in the Big City with a dynamic combination of a cappella
music and physical performance.

"Watching nine performers sustain a cappella harmony singing of this
complexity is like watching a company of trapeze artists flying through
the air with no safety net in sight... it's an exhilarating experience"
Drive Ride Walk Festival Audience Member

Filament Theatre is supported by our Artist Development Programme, and
DRIVE RIDE WALK is the company's first full production. After its world
premiere at Greenwich Theatre, the show will embark on a London tour.
Venues will include Stratford Circus (1-5 March) and Jackson's Lane
(15-19 March).
