Sense of Sound

Create An A Cappella Piece In A Day

Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall

For ages 16+

An intensive day-long workshop to create a new a cappella choral piece – before a public performance.

Drawing on a range of vocal techniques, jazz improvisation methods and harmonies that span many musical genres, the workshop is led by Sense of Sound’s creative directors, Saphena Aziz, Perri Alleyne-Hughes and Jennifer John.

Established over 20 years ago, Sense of Sound creates and produces amazing ways to celebrate singing.

The performance takes place at the end of the day.

Open to all singers aged 16+. No experience necessary; just a willingness to take part and take chances.
