Christmas Classics

Now firmly an annual favourite, this evening that kicks off your festive season in style has grown! Once again hosted by BBC’s Roger Phillips, this year’s evening of Christmas Classics is moving onto the main floor of Liverpool’s Anglican cathedral and will be raising funds for the Cathedral and Claire House. And there’s more … for the first time, the Choristers and Chamber Choir of Liverpool Cathedral will be joined by  Sense of Sound Singers.
Under the musical direction of Perri Alleyne-Hughes, the ensemble is famous for their soulful, rhythmic and experimental style. This concert will see the performance of original work and also specially arranged re-working of traditional christmas songs.  Now you can buy your ticket to hear them at the Cathedral in a programme which will see them performing with the aforementioned choirs as well as in their own right.  From popular Christmas songs to favourites from the sacred repertoire, this year truly will have something for everyone.
Why not go early and eat at the Cathedral?
Tickets are £25.00 for the concert and 2-course festive buffet (from 5.30pm) and £10.00 for the concert only.
Concert starts at 7.30pm
Tickets are available as unallocated seating.
