Girlguiding UK World in One City Celebrations

On Saturday 16th February, in celebration of World Thinking Day in Liverpool, 6000 Girlguides will congregate at Liverpool’s new Echo Arena to participate in this extraordinary multi-media event.

Indian Vocal Masterclass

[ February 23, 2008; 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. ] Sense of Sound welcomes Indian vocal expert,Manickam Yogeswaran, from world music company ShivaNova to Liverpool to deliver an extraordinary Indian Singing Masterclass.

Using a combination of North and South Indian vocal styles, this exciting new workshop will look at Indian melodic structures, the classic Indian scales and experimental Indian improvisation styles and techniques.
